Keynote Speaker - Marcie Fraser, Journalist and TV reporter, Marcie has a Masters Degree in Public Health and is a Health & Fitness reporter for television in upstate New York. She is a retired competitive body builder who hosts her own television fitness show called Tone Up! She is currently a competitive triathlete. Marcie has written two other books, and is looking for a publisher for a childrens book about bullying called "Kids on the Bus". PLUS another nutrition book entitled "Nothing Tastes as Good as Fit Feels." She is also a columnist for several newspapers and performs health seminars throughout the country. Marcie Fraser, has dedicated her career to health and medical writing, with great emphasis on subjects of concern to women who battle the bulge. As a veteran TV personality for nearly 20 years, Ms. Fraser’s most recent work is as the medical reporter for YNN, Your News Now, seen state wide, where she covers in-depth medical reports and is featured in “Toneup,” a special bi-weekly fitness segment.

Keynote Speaker - Ginger Grancagnolo, Ed.D.,D.Min. is a dynamic lecturer, author and private counselor. Thirty years experience in the fields of education, psychology and theology has earned her many degrees and a sound practical approach in helping others towards self-assertion. Even her own personal victory over dyslexia has provided her with a wealth of grass roots knowledge in creating constructive strategies that unlocks the human and divine power that awaits within all of us!

Dr. Ginger has lectured throughout the country and has been a guest expert on many radio and TV shows, including Montel Williams and Rick i Lake. Dr. Ginger has created many healing CD workshops and is the author of Who Would I Be If I Weren't So Afraid?, The Father Principle, The Mother Principle, Poems and Prayers and Direct Your SELF. The driving purpose and focus in all of Ginger’s work is to release the FEAR that blocks and halts our TRUE ability to SUCCEED! She uses easy and simple tools that have served thousands of her students and clients to break free from these painful traps and finally become who they were intended to be.

Her personal goal is to help anyone who is ready to feel his or her true self worth again. She believes that by healing the soul of its deep and old wounds, everyone can finally feel the real love God has given them. Tobey Gifford and Missy Gifford-Higley "Yoga for All Levels" and "Zumba", co-owners of The Lemon Tree Yoga and Healing Arts Studio. Both study in the Ashtanga and Dharma Mittra Method of Yoga practice with over 20 years experience collectively. They combine their knowledge of postures and breath, with a philosophy and meditation, while happily sharing it with others. John Bates Childress "Meditation/Hypnosis" John grew up in the Midwest and became interested in hypnosis/directed meditation when he used it to quit smoking in 1992. In 1999 he decided he wanted to help others learn how to change their negative habits and overcome phobias. He attended the Mottin & Johnson Institute and became certified as a hypnotist. In the decade since then he's worked with individuals and groups to help them improve their lives. He's lived in Bolton Landing, NY since 2004. Shari Black-Scott "What is Nutrition Health Testing" Shari is a Clinical Nutritionist, practicing Nutrition Response Testing, worked in the medical field for 7 years and has been in the alternative health field since 2000. Shari just completed a course as a Holistic Health Practitioner. Shari is very passionate about helping people feel better naturally. She underwent a series of post graduate courses in clinical nutrition and she has studied personally with Dr. Freddie Ulan and Dr. Lester Bryman. 

Utilizing Nutrition Response Testing, she believes that through personal education and a good, strategic nutritional program, wellness can be achieved. In her spare time, Shari enjoys spending quality time with her

Holly Maya Marek BSN MS/MFT , Certified Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist "Self Empowerment via The 7 Chakras" Originating in Connecticut, Holly's personal, professional and Spiritual path has taken her across country to practice Native Shamanic Journeys and across the globe to experience Tibetan Buddhist Culture. It is her passion to share what she has found to be strong hold stepping stones toward the goal of Awakened Consciousness and Enlightenment.


Penelope Jewell has been practicing Reiki since 1985, and was initiated as the first Teaching Master in New York State in the spring of 1988. She has traveled the world teaching the Usui System of Natural Healing: Reiki - she has taught hundreds of classes and workshops in Reiki, self-empowerment and personal mastery from Alaska and Hawaii to Scotland, England, Trinidad and Tobago, Bali, Indonesia; and Nepal. She has spoken and taught at Reiki gatherings in the United States, British Columbia, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Holland.   

 

Penelope was one of the first Reiki Masters to bring Reiki into AIDS centers, at the Globe Center in London and The Living Room in Cleveland, Ohio.  She has worked and taught Reiki in leper communities in both Bali and Nepal.  Penelope served on the Board of both The Reiki Alliance (an international organization for Reiki Masters of the Usui tradition) and the NorthEast Reiki Gathering, of which she was a founding member, and has been a member of the faculty of the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York.

Sue Ferdinand, mother of 3 and grandmother of 3, is a graduate of Mt. Holyoke College (B.A.), and Seton Hall (M.A.T.) with graduate work in theology and anthropology a the University of Chicago and NYU. Following 7 years of teaching in Newark, NJ, Sue became a Realtor and has been involved in real estate sales and management since 1981. After moving to the Adirondacks in 1995, Sue began facepainting at the suggestion of Gail Street, a well known local crafter. Today, face art, natural henna and sparkling glitter tattoos compete with real estae for Sue's attention, and, when not training and mentoring her sales staff as Sales Manager of Coldwell Banker King George Realty in Bolton Landing, NY, she can usually be found wielding a #4 sable brush and a palette of cosmetic quality face paints or a jacquard bottle or cone of organic henna at a local party, a craft fair, a store opening, a nearby restaurant, a community event or even on a street corner in Lake George Village on a summer's evening.
